Open Express Entry Profile
Submit an Express Entry profile to IRCC when eligible with Yukon as the destination. The profile is scored and ranked based on the information provided.Profile valid for 12 months
Nomination submission
Having the job offer, complete the application with the employer when eligible and submit to the province by hand, mail or email.
Decision of Nomination
Application approved, the applicant receives a Nomination Certificate to update their Express Entry profile and receive additional points.
Province reviews in 12 - 14 weeks
Federal invitation
Applicant having a higher CRS score or same CRS score with the profile created earlier will receive invitation to apply.
Profiles are selected every 2 weeks
Get PR Status
Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.IRCC reviews in 6 months
Candidate who has submitted their application to IRCC before the expiry of work permit may apply for a work permit extension to continue working legally.

Basic requirements
- Have a valid Express Entry profile and qualified under Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Trades or Canadian Experience Class stream
- Intend to live and work permanently in Yukon after being nominated
Job offer
- Full-time permanent (35+ hours/week) under TEER category 0, 1, 2, 3 occupations with a wage that meets or exceeds the median wage of the same occupation for the region
Employer
- Have the business registered with the province
- Do business for at least 1 year (3 years if non-profit organization) in Yukon
- Demonstrate enough efforts of hiring Canadian or Permanent Residents
- Operate by Canadian or Permanent Resident, fully complies with provincial business-related laws and regulations
- Have settlement and retention plans to help potential employees stay in the province
