Application submission
Applicant submits the completed application and supporting documents on Arrima when all minimum requirements are met.
Take Québec Test
Learning and being assessed for certification, or attending an information session about Québec’s democratic and social values.
Completed within 60 days.
Receive CSQ Certificate
Applicants may attend an interview to verify background information. Once approved, they will receive the Selection Certificate (CSQ). Province reviews in 6 months
Work permit
Applicants outside Canada may apply for a work permit under the International Mobility Program Plus (IMP+) for faster integration.

Maintain the conditions of nomination, attach Nomination Certificate to the PR application, and then submit them to IRCC.IRCC reviews in 15 - 19 months
Get PR Status
Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.Confirmation valid within 12 months
Applicant with work permit expiring within 180 days, who had submitted PR application to IRCC and is maintaining the conditions of nomination may be eligible to receive a work permit support letter from the province to renew their work permit.

- Will work in a company legally owned by the applicant, directly or indirectly
- Will work in payday loans, cheque cashing or pawnbroking
- Will work in the production, distribution, or sale of pornographic or sexually explicit products
- Will work in services related to the sex industry

Education
- As of November 23, 2024, 75% of the program courses must be completed in French, excluding theses, Master’s dissertations, internships, and research laboratories.
- The education program must be in French unless the applicant has completed 3 years of full-time secondary or post-secondary education in French, either in Québec or abroad.
- Have resided in Québec for at least 50% of the study program
- Have graduated from an educational institution located in Québec in one of the following full-time programs:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s Degree (MBA) or Ph.D.
- Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in technical training
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) with at least 1,800 hours of study
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) combined with an Attestation of Vocational Specialization (AVS), totaling at least 1,800 hours of study in a specific trade
Language
Accompanying spouse must have at least NCLC 4 in spoken knowledge of French
Minimum NCLC 7 in oral knowledge and NCLC 5 in written knowledge of French, assessed by 1 of 8 french proficiency tests within the last 2 years:
