Open Express Entry Profile
Create a profile with IRCC once eligible, with the intention to settle in British Columbia. The profile is scored based on the information provided. Profile valid for 12 months
Profile submission
Create an EOI profile in BC PNP Online once minimum requirements are met. The profile is scored based on the information provided. Profile valid for 12 months
Provincial invitation
Based on allocation and economic priorities, the highest-scoring candidates in the pool will be invited to complete an application.
Submit the application within 30 days
Nomination Decision
Application approved, the applicant receives a Nomination Certificate to update their Express Entry profile and receive additional points.
Province reviews in 2 - 3 months
Federal invitation
Applicant having a higher CRS score or same CRS score with the profile created earlier will receive invitation to apply.
Profiles are selected every 2 weeks
Get PR Status
Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.IRCC reviews in 6 months
Candidate who has submitted their application to IRCC before the expiry of work permit may apply for a work permit extension to continue working legally.

Express Entry
Meet the minimum requirements and have an active Express Entry profile
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC): 1 year of authorized Canadian work experience under TEER Category 0, 1, 2 or 3 within the last 3 years; minimum CLB 7 for TEER Category 0, 1 or CLB 5 for TEER Category 2, 3
- Federal Skilled Worker (FSW): 1 year of continuous skilled work experience under TEER Category 0, 1, 2 or 3 within the last 10 years; minimum CLB 7, at least the equivalent of Canadian secondary education, and 67/100 selection points
- Federal Skilled Trades (FST): 2 years of eligible skilled trade experience within the last 5 years, plus a valid job offer for at least 1 year or a Canadian certificate of qualification; minimum CLB 5 in speaking and listening, and CLB 4 in reading and writing
Job offer
- Permanent, full-time (30 hours per week) with a wage comparable to the labour market rate for TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupations
Work experience
- Inside or outside Canada
- In an occupation under TEER category 0, 1, 2 or 3 as classified under the National Occupational Classification
- License, certification: if required, work experience is only counted after obtaining the license or certification to practice
- Type of work: paid, in the same or higher position than primary occupation, some work experience obtained while on co-op may be counted
- Work experience: at least 2 years of full-time work experience (count maximum 30 hours per week) or equivalent in part-time
- Experience on a valid work permit must be related to the program of study
- Experience gained on a valid study permit does not count, unless it was paid co-op work completed after finishing the program of study
- Unpaid doctoral research/coursework may count if the applicant completed a doctorate at a Canadian public university, or holds a doctorate and has a NOC 41200 job offer from a B.C. public university
- Relevant experience: under the same occupation, or having the same duties

- Transportation Drivers: Valid Canadian driver’s licence appropriate for the job, commercial vehicle employers must meet safety certification requirements
- Social and Community Service Workers (NOC 42201): Diploma or degree in social services or community health services
- Health Care Assistants/Aides (NOC 33102): Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Dental Assistants (NOC 33100): Licensed to work as a dental assistant in BC, unlicensed assistants are not eligible
