Nova Scotia

Located on Canada's Eastern coast, Nova Scotia is a province that's mainly covered by the sea. Its capital city is Halifax, which is close to the coastline. In fact, the province is a peninsula, and its farthest point from the sea is 60 km! This makes it the perfect province to enjoy seaside relaxation! One of its major attractions is the Bay of Fundy. It's fit for competitive surfers, and expect to find some of the world's highest waves there. This makes it best for all who desire to explore and enjoy surfing activities. However, if the rush of surfing isn't what you prefer, you can try a more relaxing experience. Travelers can enjoy tour packages that involve family, with activities including whale watching, primeval forest camping, and hillside golfing! Seaside resorts are close to the Bay of Fundy region. They stretch throughout Canada, and are unique for their cultural festivals that'll fascinate all first-time visitors. There's also the Museum of Immigration, a highly recommended visit for all. It'll help tourists understand more about how immigrants contributed to Canada from its foundation to modern times.

Nova Scotia's main industries include media and film production, IT, biology, clean energy, shipbuilding, and fisheries and agricultural products. The province contains North America's closest ports to Europe, and has its largest airport. Nova Scotia's geographical location makes it excellent for importing and exporting productions, while being a production hub for heavy industries, which include shipbuilding and machine building. The province is also a site for many of the world's most-known films, one being Titanic. It's also Canada's biggest seafood exporter, with over 60 countries worldwide acting as trade partners. The exports are graded as high quality too, thanks to Nova Scotia's management and fishing regulations.

Nova Scotia offers an ecosystem best for fun getaways. You can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle there, especially with family. The province is perfect for raising children into outdoor activities. With that, residency opportunities exist for all industries and all types of employees including low-skilled workers. International students may even fit the requirements after graduating, assuming they have moderate job experience. Similar to many Atlantic and Canadian coastal provinces, Nova Scotia subscribes to the pilot residency program, allowing applicants to better assimilate into its province. Investors may also settle there, though policies look for applicants with average capital levels. Still, investor programs are open to global students after they graduate, giving them ideal conditions to launch a startup with their families in Nova Scotia.
