To be nominated by a province and substantially increase Express Entry CRS, the applicant must have a valid Express Entry profile, meets and maintains minimum requirements of either Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades or Canadian Experience Class stream

Open Express Entry Profile
Submit an Express Entry profile to IRCC when eligible with New Brunswick as the destination. The profile is scored and ranked.Profile valid for 12 months
Profile submission
Create expression of interest profile on INB System. Profile is scored and ranked based on the information provided.Profile valid for 12 months
Provincial invitation
Applicants working in New Brunswick with a permanent job offer under NOC 0, A or B or priority occupations will be invited.
Submit application within 45 days
Decision of Nomination
Application approved, the applicant receives a Nomination Certificate to update their Express Entry profile and receive additional points.Province reviews in 6 - 8 weeks
Federal invitation
Applicant having a higher CRS score or same CRS score with the profile created earlier will receive invitation to apply.
Profiles are selected every 2 weeks
Get PR Status
Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.IRCC reviews in 6 months
Candidate who has submitted their application to IRCC before the expiry of work permit may apply for a work permit extension to continue working legally.

Immigration Ineligibility
- Have a pending immigration application with the province
- Have an immigration application with another province
- Own property and/or a business in another province
- Have been refused for misrepresentation
- Are living in Canada illegally, out of status or have not applied for restoration of status within 90 days after losing the status
- Have been refused admission to or ordered to leave Canada or any other country
- Are working without authorization
- Have applied for or been refused refugee status or humanitarian and compassionate considerations
- Are in Live-in Caregiver Program;
- Have not been lawfully admitted to the country of residence
- Are offered a seasonal, part-time or temporary position
- Are offered a sale position that is paid by commission
- The job is not based on New Brunswick
- Apply under TEER category 4 or 5 occupations
- The job offer will adversely affect the settlement of a labor dispute or anyone involved in such dispute, or adversely impact training or job opportunities for Canadian or PR
- Are offered a position in a company where the applicant is the main shareholder
- Are offered a position where the applicant can start a business and/or become self-employed
Basic requirements
- Between 22 to 55 years old
- EOI profile meets or exceeds 67/100 points
- Candidate may be asked to attend an interview to clarify information with the provincial immigration officer
- Have a valid work permit if currently working
- Have a valid study permit if currently studying
Ties to the province
- Are currently working in TEER category 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupations and have a job offer in NB, or
- Are about to complete the studies or have graduated within the last 6 months and currently live in NB, or
- Receive direct invitation based on labor market demands or ties to the province
Education
- Equivalent to Canadian high-school
- Foreign education credential(s) must be assessed by Educational Credential Assessment
Employer
- Operate at least 2 consecutive years in NB, fully comply with federal and provincial laws and regulations in employment, labor, immigration
- Demonstrate enough efforts of hiring Canadian or Permanent Residents
- Not in the list of ineligible businesses under PNP, including but not limited to:
○ Business operates not for generating profit;
○ Home-based business;
○ Property rental and management;
○ Real estate investment;
○ Professional practices and services without license and/or accreditation in NB
○ Secured loans (pawnbrokers);
○ Short-term loans, money exchange and cash machines;
○ Production, distribution and/or sale of pornographic or sexually explicit products and/or services;
○ Any other of business activity that may bring the NBPNP or the Government of New Brunswick into disrepute
