Prince Edward Island

Need a place in Canada that offers more than outdoor activities? If so, Prince Edward Island has something special to offer. This is the smallest province in Canada. It's actually a peninsula, which is connected to New Brunswick through the Confederation Bridge. With its small island-like environment, Prince Edward Island is excellent to relax in and enjoy slow-paced activities. It's perfect for boating, swimming, and golfing! Plus, the place is full of natives. You can even attend native speaker festivals. Artistic concerts are also available at the King's Playhouse which is more than 130 years old! Over 60 lighthouses exist along Prince Edward Island's coastline, giving it a romantic vibe. If that's what you want to experience consider going there for wedding photos and your honeymoon!

The island's economy is diverse, ranging from aircraft manufacturing and repair, to IT, renewable energy, biology, tourism, fishing and agriculture. On the topic of aircraft manufacturing, this comprises 1/5 of the Prince Edward Island's exports, with its products intended for defense and commercial purposes. Another sector is pharmaceuticals, and many development centers are stationed there creating products for animal and human health. IT is a great contributor, constantly upgrading the technological tools in the local economy. Clean energy is core to the island's power needs. Use of wind energy is standard in the province. Also, the fishery and agricultural sectors are as important, with the island being a lead producer of products including potatoes and oysters.

The province offers a multitude of migration programs suitable for all job expertise levels. Both global students, skilled and unskilled workers aren't required to sign up for long-term employment offers. They can opt for short-term offers, allowing enterprises an easier hiring process. Also, Prince Edward Island is syncing its program with other provinces and Canada's federal government. This has allowed it to join a pilot migration system for all workers and global students spending time throughout Canada. Foreign entrepreneurs who plan on investing and settling in Prince Edward Island’s have little requirements to pass, including a demonstration of language skills. Low investment capital is accepted, and allows for better immigrant integration.
