Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee the applicant will receive the invitation. Please read the application process.This program does not include Quebec, although the work experience in Quebec counts.The candidate may qualify for multiple streams.

Candidate with 1 year of highly skilled work experience inside Canada
Profile submission
Submit an Express Entry profile to IRCC when eligible in at least one stream. The profile is scored and ranked among other candidates.Profile valid for 12 months
Provincial Nomination Update
Candidates with provincial nomination can update their profile and receive additional scores. Province may invite candidates directly.Optional
Federal invitation
Applicant having a higher CRS score or same CRS score with the profile created earlier will receive invitation to apply.
Profiles are selected every 2 weeks
PR submission
Applicant must update changes and maintain the eligibility requirements while the application is under review. Submit the application within 60 days
Get PR Status
Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.Confirmation valid within 12 months
o has submitted their application to IRCC before the expiry of work permit may apply for a work permit extension to continue working legally.

Immigration Ineligibility
- Misrepresentation: directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts that cause or may cause administrative errors of the government
- Have failed to comply with any immigration act or regulation
- Have a family member who is inadmissible to Canada
- Financial ground: unable or unwilling to financially support yourself and accompanying family members
- Medical ground: have a health condition that is dangerous to public health, public safety or may cause excessive demand on health or social services
- Have committed a crime, including impaired driving
- Membership in criminal organizations for activities such as human trafficking or money laundering
- National security reasons: espionage, subversion of government, violence or terrorism, or membership of related organizations
- Violations of human rights or international law such as war crimes, crimes against humanity, or being a prescribed senior official of a government that engages or has engaged in these activities
Minimum requirements
- Meet and maintain the selection factors score of 67/100 points which is based on age, education, work experience, job offer, language and adaptability
- Minimum CLB 7 or higher in all 4 language skills
- 1 year of continuous work experience, full-time or equivalent, in TEER category 0, 1, 2, 3 occupations within the last 10 years, including outside Canada

Settlement fund
Proof of funds to support yourself and family members during the period of adaptation after your arrival, based on Low Income Cut-Off threshold and family size, unless:
- Are authorized to work in Canada
- Have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada

Work experience
- Only consider work experience in TEER category 0, 1, 2, 3 occupations
- Count up to 30 hours per week no matter of excess hours, or 1560 hours per year, or an equal amount in part-time work
- Must perform all essential and most of the main duties set out in the lead statement of National Occupational Classification, self-employed and work experience during the studies in Canada do not count
- Not eligible under certain circumstances: work while waiting for a refugee claim decision, unauthorized work, work while on a study permit or self-employed

Minimum requirements

- 2 years of full-time work experience or equivalent within the last 5 years in skilled trades occupations
- Must perform all essential and most of the main duties set out in the lead statement of National Occupational Classification except the requirement of certification
- Have a valid job offer for at least 1 year OR obtain the Certificate of Qualification of the skilled trades from the federal or provincial authority.

- Major Group 73XXX general trades
- Major Group 82XXX supervisors in natural resources, agriculture and related production
- Major Group 83XXX occupations in natural resources and related production
- Major Group 92XXX processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors, and utilities operators and controllers
- Major Group 93XXX (except Sub-Major 932XX) central control and process operators and aircraft assembly assemblers and inspectors
- Major Group 6320X cooks, butchers and bakers
- Unit Group 62200 chefs
