Job offer
Full-time for at least 12 months with a comparable wage and not on the list of ineligible occupations
Work experience
Unless graduated a 2-year post-secondary program in Canada, must have at least 12 months full-time work experience within the last 18 months and related to the job offer category, such as:
TEER 0 must have experience in 0, 1
TEER 1 must have experience in 0, 1, 2
TEER 2, 3 must have experience in 1 - 4
TEER 4 must have experience in 2 - 5
TEER 5 must have experience in the same occupation
Education
Equivalent to Canadian high-school

Tourism and Hospitality Pilot

Candidate living and working in Alberta with job offer from a local employer

Nomination submission
Stage 2

Applicant submits the completed application on AAIP Portal when all minimum requirements are met.

Decision of Nomination
Stage 3

Application approved, the applicant receives a Nomination Certificate to support their PR application to IRCC, valid for up to 6 months.
Province reviews in 4 - 6 months

PR submission
Stage 4

Maintain the conditions of nomination, attach Nomination Certificate to the PR application, and then submit them to IRCC.IRCC reviews in 15 - 19 months

Get PR Status
Stage 5

Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.Confirmation valid within 12 months

    • If the job offer is under TEER category 1, work experience must be in TEER category 0, 1 or 2
    • If the job offer is under TEER category 2 or 3, work experience must be in TEER category 1, 2, 3 or 4
    • If the job offer is under TEER category 4, work experience must be in TEER category 2, 3, 4 or 5
    • If the job offer is under TEER category 5, work experience must be in the same occupation

Job offer
